Works are progressing at the soon-to-open $6.1 million District Park at Dawn, Walloon, which will be known as Daybreak Park.

Footpaths have been installed to create the iconic circular shape of the park, while turf is currently being laid out across the middle of the oval. Shaded areas have been erected, while the outdoor basketball court, table tennis table and playground are nearly complete.

Daybreak Park will become a thriving community hub for Dawn and the wider Walloon and Ipswich communities when complete, featuring car parking, community amenities, open spaces, barbecues, covered seating, goalposts, and shaded areas.

Our team worked closely with the local council to design the park, incorporating feedback gathered as part of the Henry Lawson Bicentennial Park upgrades in 2024.
